Salah A. Mekkawy
In September 2010, Mr. Mekkawy joined TSS Facility Services Inc. as Chairman. Prior to joining TSS Salah was Chairman and CEO of Pitcairn Properties Holdings Inc. from February 1998 to September 2010. (Salah) restructured Pitcairn and implemented a growth strategy increasing its asset from $150 million to $1.85 billion, via strategic alliances with foreign and domestic private and public real estate investors. The focus of Pitcairn shifted to value added and opportunistic investment in class "A" office and residential properties.
From 1986 to 1998 Salah founded and directed Regency Holdings to invest in residential, medical offices and industrial properties.
Salah is an experienced corporate strategist who spent over ten years with AT&T Strategic Planning Group where he participated in developing the business case for divestiture of the seven Bell Operating Companies, including Long Distance and Bell Labs.
He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Science Degree in Engineering from New York University. Salah is a member of Urban Land Institute, served for many years on the Advisory Board of the Zell Laurie Real Estate, Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania, and served on many for-profit and nonprofit organization boards.
